Frostbite Candy

What is the FrostBite Candy range?

FrostBites are our freeze dried candy range. Freeze dried candy is a type of candy that goes through a freezing process where all the moisture is removed. This process removes the moisture from the candy, resulting in a crunchy, light-weight treat with intense flavor. Freeze dried candy is available in a variety of flavors from Snacking.

Why is freeze dried candy so crumbly and what can I do with the crumbs?

Freeze dried candy is fragile and crumbly because the process of freeze drying removes almost all of the moisture from the candy. This causes the candy to become very dry and brittle, making it prone to shattering and crumbling when handled.

We will do our best to package your candy, however, they will arrive with some candy crumbs. Don't let these crumbs go to waste! Freeze dried candy crumbs are a great way to add a sweet crunch to any dessert. Use them to top ice cream, add to pancake batter, sprinkle on top of yogurt, or even mix into cookie dough. They also make a great topping for cakes and cupcakes.

How should I store Freeze Dried Candy?

Freeze Dried Candy should be stored in an airtight container or in the original silver product bags in a cool, dry place. Avoid storing it in direct sunlight, in a location with high humidity, or extreme temperatures to maintain quality and freshness. It is best to consume it within one month of opening.

If it is not stored properly and is exposed to air or humidity, the product will no longer maintain it's crunchy texture.

What if the product I want is out of stock?

At Snacking, we do our best to keep our inventory updated. However, due to demand, our popular products do sell out quickly. We run our freeze dried machine every day to ensure that we are able to provide daily stock on our website. We update our stock on our website as soon as we have finished a freeze drying a batch of candy.

Why is the candy I want no longer available on your website?

At Snacking, we strive to offer the best selection of freeze dried candy! FrostBite Candy availability can vary based on season and demand. If the candy you want is no longer available, please check back soon as we are continually updating our selection.

Are the freeze dried candy made on the same premises as other products containing allergens?

Yes, the freeze dried candy are made and packed on the same premises as products containing soy, nuts, dairy, gluten, dairy, eggs, and nuts. We recommend that those with allergies exercise caution and consult their physician before consuming our products.

Do you offer shipping and delivery?

Yes! We offer nationwide shipping for all our products.

What are the shipping options?

Free Nationwide Shipping for all orders over $99

For orders under $99, shipping to residential addresses are $8 and rural addresses are $13.5

Alternatively, you can choose next day click and collect for free at Union Bakery.

Do you offer local pick up?

Yes we do! We have partnered with Union Bakery in Howick to offer pick up for all orders.

Simply let the staff at the front counter know that you have an order to pick up and present your name and email confirmation.

When will my order be dispatched and how long will it take?

We aim to dispatch your order by midday, Monday to Friday. Place your order by 6pm and it will be ready to be dispatched the following day. Any weekend or public holiday orders will be dispatched the next business day.

Orders are expected to be delivered between 3-5 business days. Please note that occasionally, these timeframes may increase due to delays with the courier. We will provide updates on any major delays on our social media.

Note: Orders that are paid by bank transfer will be dispatched once payment has been confirmed.
